How the laser targets hair
The laser's light is absorbed by the pigment in each hair and turns into heat at the follicle. This damages the follicle's ability to grow new hair while the surrounding skin stays protected.
Why a series of 6 sessions?
Hair grows in cycles, and the laser works best on follicles in the active growth phase. Because only some hairs are in that phase at any time, treatments are spread out over several weeks. That is why every laser hair removal package at AntiAging MedSpa includes 6 sessions, with discounted touch-up sessions if needed later.
Packages by area size
Small area
Upper lip, chin, underarms and similar areas. 6-session package: $750.
Medium area
Areas such as the bikini line or lower face. 6-session package: $1,050.
Large area
Areas such as the legs or back. 6-session package: $1,500.

How to prepare
- Shave the area a day before your appointment, but do not wax or pluck
- Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner before treatment
- Come with clean skin, free of lotion or deodorant on the area
Aftercare
- Mild redness is normal and usually fades within hours
- Use sunscreen on treated areas
- Skip hot tubs and intense workouts for a day
- Treated hairs may shed over the next couple of weeks
